Caritas Diocese of Mostar-Duvno and Trebinje-Mrkan decided to build a rehabilitation center for people with special needs, what until then did not exist in Herzegovina. The Center was blessed and started work 2001. year. Construction of the building was made possible by benefactors from abroad in particular Caritas Italian religious congregations that were aimed at building the city gathered in the association "Pro Bosinia ed Erzegovina" on led by don Giancarlo Pravettoni, religious congregations guanelijanaca. Stationary department and some rooms are also co-financed Catholic organizations from Germany.
The objectives of the center are: improving the quality of life of people with disabilities, sensitization of the wider community for their problems and expert help families.
The rehabilitation center "Holy Family" was founded for adoption, socialization, rehabilitation and education of people with disabilities.
Serious disturbances in development require different organization of educational work. Acceptance of children in the early period is invaluable for their rehabilitation and require multidisciplinary approach.

It offers a living room and individual programs of work with children with mental and physical disabilities from 3. do 18. age. With modern space with classrooms and educational material there is room for physiotherapy and fitness room and sensory room.
Provides all-day stay and the associated medical care difficult immobile persons concerned can not take care of the family and provide the service 24 – hour care and assistance.
The custom shop offers the professional and social training of adults with disabilities. The workshop included daily 12 Persons with Disabilities.
